I know it is so funny some of the warnings on packages. I think Jay Leno read some on his show one night. With peanuts, unfortunately, they cause such a serious reaction in some people that they have to post warnings. Stupid as they may sound. A friend was telling me she can't send her child to school with a peanut butter sandwich just incase some other child is allergic to peanuts. See where Mars bars have removed peanuts too, for this reason. This is a sad time for us peanut lovers.

have you ever study that great e book, the Hitchhiker's instruction manual to the Galaxy, the place the main character realises the international would desire to come to an end, or something like that, while he reads on a packet of toothpicks, guidelines on a thank you to apply them ? I study it twenty years in the past, and that i've got probable forgotten what end he got here to, however the toothpick guidelines i could no longer ever overlook, as they have been unique. In actual existence, the worst i've got ever come for the era of have been sachets of salt and pepper on planes that gave components for comparable, however the peanuts warning is a regulation for peanut allegy victims that everyone manufacturers would desire to exhibit, so its no longer their fault. The salt factor is stupid, however.

One of my favorites is the instruction to use pot holders when removing something from an oven. Are there really people out there who'd remove a hot pan from the oven with their bare hands? It's a very Homer Simpson sort of thing.

Unfortunately, the only reason those warnings are there is because someone tried to sue them for NOT having the warnings there. The warnings are stupid because people are stupid, and will sue for any reason they can!

Pretty stupid. It's only stupid cause people are stupid. If people weren't so f-ing dumb, then they wouldn't have to mark packages with contents that's already obvious.
