People. Don't expect god to solve all of their. Problems. It may seem really. Irritating to you but some people want a scapegoat that isn't Satan, Lucifer, the Devil, whatever you would call him. Between Satan and God, who people expect to have some kind of influence in their lives, they would be more likely to expect God to help because they can't understand why he isn't intervening and stopping the bad stuff from happening. Personally I'm happy that a god doesn't solve all my problems, I would never grow and learn if some diety reached out of the sky and continuallly saved me.

God asks for Christians to depend on Him. He will help us to solve all of our problems but He also gave us each wisdom and he expects us to do our part and not just sit back and say "OK God go ahead and take care of this for me now", that would be irritating.

There are people(alot of them) that only believe in "God" for that reason. And there are many (also alot) who don't. Personally, "God" does not solve my problems. He just helps to guide me through them no matter what the outcome.
For people who expect him to solve their problems it is because they have not found the relationship aspect of "God"
Interestingly enough, "God" is love. Love is a thing, an action, not a feeling(according to my beliefs) So these people probably have a hard time with trusting themselves enough to work with love instead of expecting love to just happen.
OK...I'm done rambling

Hinduism teaches that if one person can think about the problem with clear and calm mind it can be solved with ease. It teaches us to work hard to resolve the problem and says then god will help us. It also teaches us that we should not depend on God but we can expect some encouragement and gived us hope for solving problems.

can you elaborate, because it sounds of two things, either you don't like the fact that they expect so much from a giving God... or you don't like the fact that they have a God.
But so you know, it's in the bible... ask and ye shall receive. Some people take it too far, but it also states ask for your desires and to never seize that prayer. It also states that, that's what God wants, for us to be dependent only him. Not our flesh.

God can solve your problems if you let him do so, and if you stay in his word. God asks for obedience, and if you stay obedient your life will be simple and your problems few. Most people create their own problems because of sin. If they do not stop the sin that causes their problems, then their problems will continue. If they hand their lives over to ?Jesus and stop the sinning, then their problems will disappear over time. Try it----you might like it.

We are not little babies that God will do everything for us. We
are powerful spiritual beings that can go anywhere in Creation
by just thinking about it. So we must learn self-control.
God is Good Teacher. And a good teacher doesn't do your
homework for you!

Let's see...
He is smarter, richer, more powerful, has more resources and connections, can do anything, always has our best interest in mind, and always know the right solution.
Sounds like some good reason to get his help when you have a problem.

PEOPLE don't expect God to solve their problems.
SOME people expect God to solve their problems.
All God ever promised were some guidelines.
We must apply them ourselves.
