Are they forever banned or is there just a period of time they can't post, like a punishment? Please tell if you have been suspended. Did you need to open a new account?

You have to start a new account to use Answers:(
I've had some suspended, but I could still use the mail if I wanted to, and others just completely deleted.

I was suspended when I first came to this site last Dec...I had been reported for a violation..because I was only posting answers from the Bible..
I spoke with customer care and worked things out..I was given another chance..
I was also reported a couple of other times..but they were aware that I had not made any violation and that the the ones who were complaining were just trying to get me suspended..
I do not know if there is any waiting period, or if you do need to start a different account..you can ask customer care..they should be able to help you with this.. :)

I believe you have asked the question in error cause you cannot sin against Yahoo cause it is not a God. Now one can only sin against the creator which is God. I wish to never be suspended however but yahoo do take coffee breaks just when you are in the groove to answer questions. When one violates a rule on yahoo, I believe you are penalized or suspended or terminated depending on the situation.

I made a new account the last time i was suspended: word of advice if you have an account you use for yahoo chat dont use it in yahoo answers because they can ban you from both now.

i've been suspended but i have several accounts so i've never tried to get into my old one again... maybe its available? but probably not
