He might have been intimidated by you. If he felt that you were smarter or more successful than him he might have felt threatened. Being with a woman who couldn't compare to you would help his self-esteem.

First off, lose the caps...it's just annoying...and it's "What" (not 'wat')...
And your dude apparently saw something in that chick that appealed to him...perhaps he's just the type that prefers to go from girl to girl and not spend much time with any particular one...and the "not all that cute" is your opinion, but may not have been his...we don't all find the same things pretty or ugly...
People do things for all kinds of reasons...upgrading isn't always the reason someone goes from one thing, to another (similar) thing...
Just realize that for whatever reason, you and he weren't a good match...and move on...when you let go of your anger for this situation, you'll be better prepared for the next opportunity that may come your way...

BC guys get bored easy so that's why he left you I'm sure your a great person but guys are *** holes and get tired easy that happen to me allot but the thing is he does realize what he got until he loses it so he figure that if the girl got noting going for him she will be good and do anything for him BC she would depend on him but that was not the case with this other chick she was smart lol but girl just move on bc you definetly can find someone beter that just meen that person was not for you if the guy is the one you will know right away he is a loser your a better person bc he got his carma

People see others differently. Perhaps she is a very needy individual and he thinks that he can help her. Or maybe they do truly get along greatly and he prefers her to you. Either way it seems that he has made his choice and you must live with it.

Guys who do this are very confident in themselves. My boyfriend is26 and I am only 18. I dont have my own car and he is madly in love with me. But you are obviously better then this girl since she cheated on him and you didnt. But if he comes back to u, dont take him, just remember that he cheated on you too.
