I would have to say anywhere between 4-8 months.. depending on how long before or after the expiration date it is. If it's before the expiration date, you're in free grounds, but if it's after, i probably wouldn't keep it around much longer than 6 months. Also, check for freezer burn, as you could have had a rip in the packaging at some point in time.

i've heard that as long as you don't open the freezer very often, it is up to a year or more. you just need to take a look at it. if you don't see freezer burn in the form of black areas, you are good to go.

If you are thinking about buying them now for the holidays that are just around the corner it is fine. Pork always lasts longer than foul and as long as they are prepared with the next two months it will be fine.
