My hair is not super thick but I am trying to grow it longer. It's about shoulder length now and I haven't cut it in almost 2 years, but I want to get it trimmed/re-styled as it looks not in great shape and is kind of lifeless limp.

What is a good cut for a guy with shoulderish length hair that wouldn't lose too much length and means I could keep growing it.

Just ask for a trim. More than likely your hair will look 10 times better if you get it trimmed. It will also grow faster if you get it trimmed every couple of months.

If you want to keep it all the same length, just get a trim on the ends, and let it keep growing or if you like layers, get all over long layers, and keep the length you have, I got the long layers and it makes my hair look thicker....

Sorry but I think you should cut it shorter than shoulder length. Long hair on guys went out with the leg warmers and truly, never really looked that great.

yea you want to get those ends off. Shoulder length might want to be solid and upload some gentle layers. i love the bangs perhaps texturize them some extra they look a touch to heavy. attempt utilizing Paul Mitchell tremendous skinny serum after styling. solid success and characteristic interesting with your new reduce.

I think that this is a really cool look for guys with long hair, it would be stylish now, yet still look cool as it gets longer. And your hair doesn't have to be very thick to get this done. Hope you like it!

I prefer men with long hair to keep it one length because if you do anything else I think it looks to feminine. I love long hair on guys.
