Okay, everyone sure makes great points. However, I truly disagree!! I am Canadian and do not support the anti-immigration measures. I have family members that are illegals, canadian illegals- that is- but they are still illegals. ( So why is everyone so focused on MEXICANs- take geograpgy lessons, many come from el salvador, costa rica and so many other places.!)Granted, people can say: well yea, but what about the sleeping giant of 11,000,000 illegals.. I say GET OVER IT!! i do not think any one should have the privellage 2 come over here but please whether people are citizens of a country, residents or even an immigrant they are all still HUMAN BEINGS!! Oh and by the way.. to the ignorent people; before prop 100 passed, regardless if illegal immagrants did pay bond they were not let out of jail to await trial. IDIOTS!!!!! They then were handed over to INS which then kept them and did whatever they wanted with them, then finally they were deported back to Mexico! ( and the bond that they paid was FREE money that went back into the jail systems anyways!

I'm happy for them!
Here's part of an email I received this morning, from a friend in Phoenix AZ:
I have had a bad day. I was at a light when a undocumented person hit me in the rear. My truck is totaled and he did not have any insurance and was not here legally. They let him go because they can't hold an illegal that is a immigration offense and only a federal crime. I had to rent a car to drive while my insurance company looks into it. They don't believe that my insurance will completely cover the cost of replacing my vehicle

My state of Arizona is on the front line of the battle against illegal aliens. The people spoke loud and clear, they stood up for the state and its legal residents.I'm very proud of my state and its great people of all colors and from all heritages that voted and passed these propositions. Thank you AZ......
In Colorado, as votes are still being counted it appears two anti-illegal immigration ballot initiatives have passed. One promotes seeking federal reimbursement for expenses relating to illegal immigration and the other eliminates state income tax deductions for employers who hire illegal aliens.

The Citizens of Arizona acted in their own defense at the polls, and sent a clear message to their representation to continue to act decisively on this important issue. There are 50 states in the Union, none of which should be ceded to Mexico. Failing to deal with illegal immigration from Mexico is the same as allowing that to happen.
I do think that working to get Mexico standing on its' own two feet is pretty important, but first and foremost, our states should be able to act in determining their own future separately from humanitarian concerns or political pressure from foreign countries. I think it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, that Mexico's watching our election with hungry eyes...

Yeah, in state tuition banned there so more will be drawn to our state where it still exists....
It is very clear why so many Californians move to Arizona. And it is clear how they vote when they get there.
Colorado also passed its two anti illegal propositions, and the Atty General will be suing the federal government on Colorado's behalf to compell immigration law enforcement.

AZ is on the front lines when it comes to Immigration!! My grandfather on my dad's side was a LEGAL immigrant, and I feel we should make it easier for LEGAL immigrants to this country if they want to assimilate!! all others can leave before the door slams on their behinds.

Hold on - we've tried to make changes before.
Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that anything will change. Janet will overturn all of if it and nothing will be enforced. She's done it before.
