anyone recommend anything over the counter... Lotrimin/Tinactin/etc? or in a powder/ointment/spray? etc? thanks!

do you think that promise of one-week cure by stuff like lotrimin works?

Tea Tree oil, apply with a cotton ball, pad or q-tip 2-3x per day. You can get it at WalMart where the vitamins are or in health food stores.

Make sure you treat your shoes too, a good spraying with lysol should do it. Treat them several times including one final time when you have it cleared up. If you have white socks bleach them. And use bleach or lysol on your shower.

Best is probably Lotriman spray, but the key is to have shoes that breath. Only wear waterproof if/when you have to and when you can in the evening no shoes or socks.

Yes, those do work...but you have to keep using them----even after you think that it's gone. Follow the directions and it will take care of it. If you stop using it too soon, it will just come back again.

Mycil cream. Or else soak in warm water, dry REALLY well between toes, apply baby powder for two - three days and voila! keep them clean and DRY or reinfection will occur.
