No, not usually. Actually they are quite common and you would be surprised how many women have them. I myself have them and have since I was a teen and the only down side to them is how miserable they made my breast 3-4 days before my cycle. I have had a complete hysterectomy, so I no longer have PMS, nor do I have trouble with them anymore. If you do have trouble with yours, my gyno told me to massage them gently on a regular basis and to take Vitamin E.

Not normally. I have fibro-cystic breasts. I have to go get them aspirated from time to time. Now I have had breast cancer, but that did not come from the cysts. It was a mass (hard) in the breast and it had to be removed. Two totally different things. If you have a weird lump, you should ALWAYS have it checked out just to be sure.

I have fibrocystic breast disease and have lumps taken out of my left breast twice. I was told by my dr. that caffine is a big contribute to this disease and since I had my last lumps removed in 1987 I started taking vitamin E at night and have had good mamograms since. I am now 51. I would advise anyone who discovers any lump in their breast to consult their dr. even men can have lumps in their breasts and develop cancer.

My wife had fibroid-cystic breasts and was told by her doctor to limit caffeine intake. She stopped drinking cokes and eats chocolate less often and it went away.

You just have fibrocystic disease of breasts, a very common benign condition.
