I am actually, I don't usually (I'm a bit of a scrooge) but this year I have started all my shopping early so I'm pretty much there with the pressies, and I have a new little nephew at two months old so thats someone lovely to spend my pennies on, and we're having christmas at my parents with my little cousins who are four and six, so hopefully their excitment should rub off on everyone else! I hope you have a lovely one!

I am looking forward to it. I can't wait. You're surrounded by your loved ones, you get it eat alot of great food, you get to give and receive presents, and I make a ton of different kinds of cookies that are just for Christmas. What more could you want in a holiday. Christmas is the best one there is, nothing can compete.

No, I'm not looking forward to it. I hate to sound like such a scrooge but the holidays are so expensive and over-indulgent. I know I'll spend a ton of cash and probably gain a few lbs too. I will enjoy seeing my extended family and the brandy and egg eggnog. : )
But if I hear that stupid chipmunks Christmas album one more time....

Yes but i'm starting to worry!
I'm going on holiday in 2 weeks for 2 weeks and I'm trying to get the majority of my shopping done before i go so i don't have to panic buy when i get back on the 7th!!
Only about 5 to go!

The build up (rip off) to Christmas now begins in mid-October. No wonder people wonder where the year went!!
Commercialised crap, Slade and Wizzard records for the millionth time and a lot of fuss about shopping.
Hard to believe it used to be about religion isn't it?
Count me out.

I love Christmas but it is expensive. I am not looking forward to the game system my son asked for. Anyone ready to make donations?

Of course...the run up to christmas is always the most exciting bit.....shopping for gifts, the excitement and expectations...makes me feel like a kid again.
Shame it never lives up to the hype after boxing day.....

wow, that's all, I did not realize it was that close.
I love Christmas, but I wish that everyone would stop making it like it's all about shopping & take the time to realize the TRUE meaning of the season/holiday. ( Jesus)
take care
