by implication? Has God left them now? The Democrats, have God on THEIR side?
I ask because, I was told that everyone else was evil!

Maybe God has left the world and Satan has showed up. Does this mean Armageddon is here or at least the beginning of it.

All I know is that >I< never said that. God is not on anyone's side. WE choose whether or not WE want to be on GOD'S side. God is still in control, just as he was when both Clinton and GHWB were in office.
America left God a long time ago. I would be very surprised if He does anything more for this backslidden nation. But who knows? God is Good, and He may even choose to use Democrats to His Purposes! LOL.

God is not a politician.
God is on everyone's side. He holds out his gift of mercy to whomsoever shall accept it. Worldly distinctions don't mean anything to him. Personalities don't mean to him what they mean to us. What matters to God is that he loves us and has opened the road for us to reach him by way of his Son's mercy.
Whatever you were told about certain people being evil is just words. The fact is that we are all sinners and all fall short of the glory of God. It is the few who recognize this fact, acknowledge it is true, and seek salvation through Jesus who are the ones who come to know God. Any Christian worth half of his or her salt will not tell you that God is on the side of any political party. God is concerned with the salvation of human souls, period.

It doesn't matter if some politicians think they are God. They're wrong.
It's very simple.

God is in control of everything, however I don't think he would favor either. The Republicans (many at least) are good actors who put on a religious front, just like Reagan, who actually was an actor. It's a game they play to get the evangelicals to vote for them.

Listen, read the book, even if you hate God!
God said He will raise up and put down at will - the same God who some of us feel is on our side and not on others'.
He said He is no respector of persons - Democrats or Republicans! Okay!
He sets us up and we foolishly fall into the trap. We are stupid!

When did the GOP ever claim to have God on their side? And furthermore, when did Christians ever claim to be able to control politics on earth?
The Christian Bible makes it clear that this earth is corrupt and we will not be in control of it. Any Christian who says they can control America is delusional and speaking against the scripture. We are told over and over in scripture, don't get too comfortable on earth, because you're really not welcome there.
And anyway, I agree with some of your other answers. God isn't up there siding with a political party, especially one as secular as the GOP.

We all have God on our side!!! We are all connected to the source and a part of the source (God) therefore we are all capable of manifesting our destiny although some are better at it than others!!
Evil is manifest of man so we all have the potential to be evil although some are more inclined to execute it.

Hah. No organisation of man can proclaim control or embodiment of God's will; neither political nor religious. The Republicans lost because the Americans were fed up with them. That's all there is to it.

I think it is kind of ignorant (well extremely) to believe God is of a certain political party that has only existed a few hundred years.
