I am a sinner!!! I was born from sin!!!! I live my life in sin, because I do not believe that the bible it to be taken literally. Some would say I have the devil in me, because when I lay my hands on people I can heal them with energy from the source like Jesus did.
I hear the trees talk to me, and I dance with the fairies. I have many atheist friends, and many christian ones as well. I ask many questions instead of not having any. I question god, because I question myself. I believe god is a word to express the goodness of man, and it lives within us all. I believe Jesus was a man who died as a result of our sins upon him, if even he ever lived. And I love everyone, and I get angry from the hypocricy of peoples mouth and their eyes that can only judge others, and not themselves. I for halloween went as an atheist and failed, once I saw the big sky. I have read Dantes inferno 3 times just for kicks, and masturbation seems something neccessary to me. SHould I fear for my soul?

Is man good? You are knowledgable. I have seen your questions and replies....you seem to have a head on your shoulders. So. Like law regarding entropy, is man born going from good to better, or is man born and molded, pushed, punished, terrorized, into beinf what we call morally acceptable? I, as an opinion, can not believe in an'inherent goodness' in man. I just look at a child who is becoming self aware, and the first things learned are "NO!", screaming for attention, taking toys from others...doing everything we have to teach them not to do. They do not come out and learn politeness and giving, first. They are changed into that.

You should not fear your soul. We were all born in sin. Some of us just look at it from a different aspect. We all have our beliefs, and you do believe, so there is nothing you should fear. If taking the bible literally was our means for getting into heaven we would all be bound for hell. You seem to know what the spirit is telling you, and as long as you believe what you are saying nothing can go wrong. Disbelief was bestowed upon atheist. You, my friend, are not an atheist by a long shot, and therefore, have nothing to fear. What you are saying sounds alot like a religion I heard of once, but I don't remember the name of it. In this religion, God, or Yahway (think it's spelled correctly), does not send us to hell for sinning. He is a forgiving God, so even as we sin, if we believe and know that we are saved from them, and that Jesus died for our sins (so that we can sin and be forgiven), then we are saved with each sin that we commit.

we are all sinners and are unworthy of THE HIGHER POWER no matter by what NAME one refers to HIM by. I do not fear you and in a sense trust you more than many others here. agree with you in the part about everyone having the right to believe as they see fit because of free will. there are many paths and ways to arrive at one's destination and getting there is the important thing not how. you are very Spiritual and wish you well on your journey through this veil of tears.

Nope, your soul sounds in good shape to me. But as a webmaster for a site called www.godhatesrepublicans.org I may be a bit suspect to some.

Taking the Bible literally is like taking poetry literally; you miss the meaning.

You sound like a neat person, and I'd be proud to have someone like you in my congregation.

Hope that helps!

It is your choice, and every choice either good of bad has its own consequences.

Our soul is not immortal. it can die. As the scriptures says, For the wages of sins is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.

This myths immortality of the soul originated from Eden when God says to Adam and Eve, The moment you eat the forbidden tree "YOU WILL SURELY DIE" But the devil counteract and says "YOU WILL NOT SURELY DIE" knowing good and evil, you will become like him.

They did not die physically, but spiritually. and we suffer for their ignorance of the word of God. Today this teaching spread like wildfile and become a doctrine.

Nope!

I recommend that you check out Zen: A Path to Paradox. This is a book by Osho. Much of what you say reminds me of things I read in that book.

hehehe! funny you! i guess you might share my God concept wherein the "soul" is incorruptible, immutable and impossible to endanger or despoil. wherein God is everywhere and in everything and "soul" is the pure energy that God IS.

of course you might not share my God concept but that wouldn't be a sin. hehehe!

Why should you ask what we think? If you believe this, this is between God and yourself. You have to live with your decision for better or worse.

I surely do not fear your soul. Fear not that which can kill your body, but what can steal your soul. I worry for you that you will be sorely mistaken upon judgement day however.
