Cream, beige or light blue. Perhaps if you don't like these you can use an online color chart to see colors that are pale and compliment brown and dark blue.

To offset the dark blue use a white or a very verry light blue. the more dark colors you use will make the room look smaller.

I think that the walls should either be a periwinkle blue or a brown a tad lighter than the furnature.

the walls can be any color you like - any color that makes u feel good.... but why would u want _dark blue_ carpet, anyway?!!!
