My cat loved my old Astra. Would purrrrrrrrrr for ever. He does not like my Rover, but come to that nor do I.
I always put him in his carrier and then put in on the front seat with the safety belt round to secure it.
My husand has to take a back seat and thinks I fuss far too much over the cat.

My cat likes all cars - she gets in, has a wander around, sniffs everything and sometimes settles down for a nap - then bolts away faster than a lightening strike when the engine is started! (She especially like BMWs for some reason.)

Sharon T's comment (clever wordplay!) made me smile broadly because my cat has definitely assumed ownership of my 'Purr- cedes'!
