You have seen them on the fourm. those who spend all day asking question to insult or humor themselves. When believers only answer in postive ways or scriptures does it bug you?

Everything that believers don't agree with offends them - we, as atheists, ask probing questions (some obviously are dumb) to try and understand why believers won't face reality and employ even the most basic degree of commonsense. Our mission in life, some of us anyway, is simple: help people mired in superstition to escape the chains if they desire. Being told you're going to be condemned because you don't subscribe to a particular idea is more destructive than I think you know. Religion may be cool for many but it destroys lives.We're just doing what we can.

Your statements only drive others to mock the bible and christians even more.
What is your definition of "Self-Righteous" ?
Is not "Pride" one of the 7 deadly sins which God so greatly despises ?
Repent yourself. And truly be reconciled to God.
Read Matthew 6:14, and 15 in the Amplified Bible also.
And please always remember, 1 John 1:9 is totally dependent up you obeying Matthew 6:14, 15.
Repent with a true repentence without regret, then God will receive you into a real relationship with Himself and His Son Yeshua Jesus.
Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to cast your anger, for man's anger does not produce the Righteous lifestyle that God requires !!! Read the book of James, christian man.

I am an Atheist, and I think that most posts on here are funny, from all points of view.
I think it's a waste of time on all party's sides, simply because this forum isn't going to change anyone's mind. I'm never going to buy into Christians telling me I'm going to hell, since I don't believe in hell. Much like Christians aren't going to buy into an Atheist explaining the fault in the bible.
We are all different, we all have our beliefs and non-beliefs, and BOTH sides are guilty of trying to get things started. I say we agree to disagree, respect each other's beliefs and non-beliefs, and MOVE ON!!!!

It doesn't bother me in the least. Sometimes I just post them for my own amusement. If someone is actually insulted by them, thats their own problem.
Sometimes I like to use scripture to prove my points. THAT is usually just a bonus if it ticks off some religious zealot.

No matter if they are asking to be mean, or to entertain themselves,,, a seed is planted with the answers provided to them.
For everything evil, God works to the good.
weather or not they want to admit it or acknowledge it, they learn from our words.

If you think they're designed to insult (when in fact, they're designed to disagree), you may probably be taking insult from where insult is not.
