I get whole grain pasta and a jar of Classico pasta sauce (I read it is the healthiest brand). Sometimes I top it with cheese, and sometimes I get some ground turkey and cook it in my electric skillet, breaking it into meatball sized chunks while it cooks. Then I add the sauce. Eggs are good and cheap. I put a few pieces of frozen broccoli in the skillet first, and when they are thawed in about five minutes i add a couple of eggs beaten with salt and a little milk. Scramble and sprinkle with a little cheese. Chicken stir fry is a good, easy one. You can buy a bag of stir fry veggies either fresh or frozen, and some sauce from the Asian section at Walmart. Cut up some chicken and fry it in a little oil, add the veggies and fry for 5 to 10 minutes (depending on if you like them crunchy or soft), then add the sauce. I like to get boil-in-bag brown rice to go with it. It only takes 5 minutes to cook and has more nutrients than white rice. For lunches I make sandwiches on whole wheat bread that has at least 2 grams of fiber per slice (you gotta read labels on bread since most of it is junk). I use spinach or green leaf lettuce for more nutrition. Grilled cheese and soup is another fast, warm meal that you can make healthy if you get the right bread and cheese. Kraft 1% sliced cheese is good according to What Not to Eat. I usually use one slice of that and one of swiss or low fat mozzarella; it's so good mixed. I use olive oil to cook it in, which makes it nice and brown, but is a good fat with good flavor. I eat Progresso Lite soups with it. And don't forget to add fresh fruits to your diet. Even if it's just peanut butter & banana sandwiches! Apples and oranges can help you lose weight by filling you up with fiber and with the high water content. And they have a lot more nutrients than the juices.

Stir fry. Buy a frozen bag of stir fry veggies... stick a little oil in a frying pan or wok... add veggies, toss in some frozen (precooked) shrimp or tofu (or meat if you swing that way, lol)... toss in some soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, sweet n sour sauce, sweet chili sauce, etc. (just one of these!) and voila! It's nice cuz it takes about 10 min and you can make it taste different depending on what kind of sauce you use. Plus it's really good for you!

I am living alone with just 375€ a month... not much but i am managing. I usually have a salad and a toast in the evening, and something warm for lunch if i have time to cook. if not i eat salad and something hot in the evening.

i usually make soups and freeze them. it is cheaper to buy something which is in season, and make a lot of it and freeze it.

you can make pizzas which are not expensive, and are healthy according to what you put in them.

you can also do interesting sandwiches...

on this website you can find good recepies... it is great.

i guess it depends on your living situation, budget, and preferences. quick, cheap, and easy are all relative, and add in healthy, you're shooting for the moon. however, being in the same situation, and sick of wendy's, i can sympathize. here's a pretty good site, and remember, what you like is important, so don't be afraid to modify the recipes or try your own thing.
