I was 16 when my boyfriend and I met. That was over 2 years ago. I know what it feels like to want to commit to him and only him, but it's not the best idea. There are people who do make it, but for every young couple that makes it there are at least 10 who don't. What's the rush? If there is love, your relationship will last whether you're married/living together or not.
Take my advice and don't jump into anything. People change and the love you have now may last, but there's a chance it won't, no matter how badly you want it to.
Best Wishes.

That depends on what you mean by commit. It seems like you're already in a commited relationship, since it has been almost 3 years. If you mean commit to marriage or other longterm plans, it might be a little early, but ultimately you just need to act on what you think is right. If you've been together that long chances are you really enjoy being together.

It is never too early to commit yourself to someone you love, but you do have to make sure that that is most certainly the case. If you two have been monogamous and committed to each other for the past three years, then it stands to the proof of time that you will more than likely stay together.

if you're having doubts about the relationship, yes. There are a lot of guys out there...and you don't really know what kind of guy you really like, unless you go out with a few different guys. But some people only have one love and stay that way.

if things are going great then there's nothing wrong in a committment even at an early age. but in my opinion sometimes everyone has to experience other things in order to really learn what you want and need in life. see what else is out there so later on you don't feel as if you missed out in life. but if your happy w/ him and he makes u happy...then commit. do what feels right.

No , not at all. But , it was just a practice run .You probably have a few more even . It's good to pick up some life lessons before the real thing.

It depends. If you have the feeling that you need to see what else is out there, then you should probably call it quits. If you feel happy and in love, then you are very lucky and should take advantage of it.

Most people who marry the ones that they dated in High School end up divorced in their 20's, so you might want to wait.
