I have had migranes for years. I have been prescribed Imitex by my doctor and it helps with severe headacks, but with my insurance it cost $40.00 for 9 pills for a name brand. The migranes usually start when I wake in the morning, if I take a combination of Ibuprofin and a caffeine pill (No Dose) right away when I feel it starting, sometimes I can stop it before it really gets going. I try not to sleep too long, and I know I need to loose wieght. Mine are a circulatory issue.

OMG! My migraines are terrible. Check with your doc. There used to be a tablet you could dissolve on your tongue at the first sign of a migraine. I hate taking any kind of meds, but Excedrin migraine formula helps takes the edge off.

Do This. As soon as you know one is coming on, eat something heavy like a sandwich, then take your pain medicine, then drink a regular coke, the origional with caffine. This works great for me. It may or not help you, but I get migranes with the lights and all, and this method really helps. Also, if it lingers, try to go to sleep. Still, this should help alot. :) arum

I have read that natural PROGESTERONE......NOT progestin, can help alleviate and even prevent migraine headaches.

I have attached a link for your review, but read everything you can about estrogen dominance and natural progesterone and/or creams that help balance your hormones.

Hope it helps.
