Yesterday i missed class, so he calls me and starts complaining about how he never sees me on the weekends. i've only known him for a month so thats 4 weekends. i did see him one weekend. Today after my bio class he comes up to me and says he just wants to spend time with me. i dont know what to do. Apart from that he's a wonderful boyfriend. I just have alot advanced classes and he doesnt seem to understand that i have to study.

Why don't you invite him over to study with you? And, tell him that you really need to study. But, if he wants to come over to spend some time, then come on over.

I wouldn't dump him just yet. Maybe he is just feeling a little insecure. Explain to him that he is wonderful and that you do like him. Give him some reassurance. Then explain to him that your education is important and you have to focus on that right now. Make a little time for him on the weekend (even if it is just and hour or so to eat). It seems like he just really likes you and would like you to spend a little more time with him.
If he continues to be needy or clingy or insecure, just let him down gentlely. Explain to him that he's great, but you don't have the time that is needed to invest in a relationship right now.

Try talking to him again, (only if you really want to keep him). But if he can't respect the fact you half to study tell him that "I think we need some time apart" "That we should see other people" or just tell him that you are going to half to leave him alone because your books or study comes first right now and that you can't handle the stress of a relationship right now.

i dont think so.i think u need to talk about it with him and make him understand ur priorities in life.if he understands that means he is a true friend apart from being a good boyfriend.but even u need to understand that he wants to spend time with u so he must be totally nuts abt u!u shud decide a schedule accordin to which u can meet him,so that u can balance both ur relationship and studies.but if he doesnt want to understand then dump him.after all its ur life and u make the final decisions,right?if he doesnt understand u then he doesnt deserve to be ur boyfriend.

well tell him that, "hun your are a great bf, but school comes first i'm sorry if you can't exect that then we will not work, i know we wont see each other alot but i do want to be with you" if he can't except it then yeah dumb his ****, and for real it sounds to me like he a lil needy and not controling but ummmm.smuthering, that is the word, if i spelled it right, since you have only been together for a month and he is bitching bout that, seems he might have some more baggage tehn you would want to deal with, and more so since it sounds like school is very important to you and that is a very good thing stick with that, you have your whole life to deal with boys

that's a silly reason to dump a guy. Give him a chance he probably misses you alot. Try to make time for each other after school! give him a chance he sounds like he loves you and just wants to be around you more

I think you should let him come over while you study and then maybe he will see and understand the workload for school that you are under and he may understand better

He doesnt understand that school is yoru priority and YOU DONT UNDERSTAND that you cant have a boyfriend right now. You need to tell him you are too busy with school and dump him before it gets worse.

explain to him that you have advanced classes and it's important that you be in attendance to these classes and try to make a schedule so that you can find time to be with him, if he can't be understnading enough to know that you need to be in class and you need to be able to have time to study then yes you should dump him.

You need to explain to him that you have a heavy study load and that most of your time is spent. If he can work around that then its OK and if not then maybe he should find another...
