Evidently she was concerned that you might be sick - don't quit your day job or try out for American Idol.

If something so little would offend you, it's not worth living anymore. Chill! You could respond to her by saying, Of course I'm alright, I'm just singing. If she comment anything about your singing, give her the lyrics, and ask her to sing for you. Then maybe if she DOES sing better than you, humble yourself, and ask for her help for you to improve.

No don't be offended. Maybe she just caught a small sound and cared enough to ask if you were alright.

first of all a person likes to here only what he wants to here.
you might not like what i am going to say here.
i personally think you were passionately singing and when your mom interupted you suddenly you were shocked.
and this might have offended you .
and the fact that you are asking this question shows that you know you shouldnt be offended.
so you have all the answers in you right?

NO WAYS! She's joking. You probably have a great singing voice. Thats what I tell myself when the neighbors throw half eaten hotdogs at me after I've showered... "They're just jealous they can't throw their voice as loud as you" I tell myself. Carry on hitting those notes dude!

All depends, if you were seriously singing then I would be, but if you were playing around not in the least bit.
