That is a really tough question - but I would have to say it would be the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
It is a beautiful building and they have great exhibits and a wonderful roof garden.

I can go to any museum for free but my two favorites are the Met and the transit museum in Brooklyn.

The American Museum of Natural History and the Hayden Planetarium. Close together and wonderful!

easy to answer its the museum of natural history its the best of its kind in the world , i used to play hooky from school to go there sometimes
