handle you must live in the posh part of the country
we can only have it in a glass jar
and that is not only broken but its only on a Sunday
eleventeen of use share it
the rest of the time if we are Lucky and it is hot
its poured into our cupped hands so we can warm up at the same time as having our weekly treat
and you talk about which side the handle is on luxury

Since mose people would reach for the cup with their right hand, then the right side is the appropriate side. In fact, if you have a water glass or wine glass (also on the right) the tea or coffee cup should be placed above it.

Definately the outside.
Saves scalding your fingers or making the tea taste of fish.

Anywhere on thje outside cause you can turn it to grab it with whichever hand you wish. Useless to have it on the inside.
