Jesus frequently healed people spiritually (forgiveness) and physically at the same time.
But sin is more than a disease or condition that we cannot control.
Sin is a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God.
In other words, sin is anything that hurts your relationship with God. Whereas sickness often brings people closer to God.
With love in Christ.

Oh yes!!! I'm sure there is at least a strong link between healing and forgiveness, I think the two could well, as you suggest, be the same thing.
I feel that forgiveness on a profound level is allowing everything to be just as it is. Giving up the resistance against seeing it as complete. When I can totally allow myself to be me, stop struggling and totally forgive all the pain in my life by seeing it as part of God's complete plan, and totally forgive myself for all my flaws, by seeing that it is only I who perceive them as such, not God who created me 100% right, then I am complete. Whole. Healed.
I like Sandy's answer very much. Because I believe that a wound is indeed what causes sickness. Physical sickness, mental sickness or "sin" - all of which lead us away from the completeness of God. Why shouldn't we be able to return to the completeness of God -and heal- by healing the initial wound through forgiveness?

Sin is sin and not a malfunction unless you are not capable of knowing right from wrong.Yes Jesus did heal and forgive sins both because when Jesus did something he did it all the way,why heal someone so they can turn around and go sinning all over again?

Sin is the outward manifestation of a sick/wounded spirit. When Jesus healed people's bodies and then said to them, "Go, and sin no more," he was acknowledging that there was indeed a connection between a broken life and a broken soul.

I don't believe its a disfunction in our brain. I don't think it can be healed, I think it can be improved upon.
Each and everyone of us sins someway, because we are all looking at it from different point of view.

The roman soldier reported Jesus grew to become into God's son. If he's God's son then he's an angel purely like something of God's heavenly sons. What angel could be greater effective than Jesus? Who could be head over Jesus between the angels? The Archangel skill chief angel. No different angel could greater healthful that description.
