I think just plain soap, my father in law is bald and he took a shower in my daughters room where he was sleeping while he was here, and since my daughter doesn't use her bathroom the only thing in it was soap, and he never asked for shampoo. But i could be wrong he might have had shampoo with him.

just soap and water - that is all my husband uses - and has used for a long long time -- of coarse he uses shaving cream for the few strays....
