I know exactly what you're saying. I,too,am extremely grieved in my spirit and I believe we do need to pray earnestly. Even though we already know what is coming,we need to pray for strength to get through hard times until Jesus comes to take us Home. But, I believe the grieving in my spirit is for those who continue to close their eyes and ears to God. When I read some of the horrible things people here write about God, it tears me up inside, for not only are they rejecting God,but they are rejecting their only hope. I don't wish to see any of my fellow human beings to suffer in any way,but other than earnest prayer for them, there's not much more I can do. They have made their choice, and they must live with the consequences. I just wish they wouldn't harden their hearts and close their ears to God's truth. This is definitely not a myth or fairytale. This is real, and everything God's Word says about the end times IS going to happen, and nothing or noone on earth can stop it.
Yes, very earnest prayer is most definitely needed.

I agree with you totally. I think that the times are changing dramatically. Things seem to be escalating all over the world and not in a good way. My opinion is that we this generation will see the coming of Christ. We people of whatever faith need to pray for forgiveness, mercy and to be the best children of God we can possibly be.

There is no doubt about that.
The rapture is so close I can almost hear Gabriel warming up.
The time is now to make sure you are right with the Lord, tell everyone you come in contact with about Jesus.
We have always thought the time is near, but now everything even in nature is pointing to the end being very very near.
We have no more time to waste, every day that goes by is another gift from God to the unsaved, so that they have time to accept or reject Him.
It is up to us to make sure all nations hear the Gospel. Please be about the Fathers business!!!!!

well, perhaps that grieving feeling you're experiencing is whats left of your natural instincts. ALL the other creatures on this beleaguered planet are feeling it too. the death of our habitat. and tho you may imagine that you'll escape the consequences of human stupidity and avarice future generation will not and so perhaps part of your grief is suppressed guilt at having allowed the Earth, God's beautiful garden, to get so frigging trashed, for allowing it to become a toxic waste dump.

i know i'm in mourning for the impending loss of so many wonderful species of plants and animals. and i feel a crushing sense of guilt for having contributed to their extinction.
mumbling prayers to your deity won't help tho. only an abrupt change in human behaviors and priorities can save the Earth.

PS. of course if you think you'll be wisked away to heaven to sit on a golden throne wearing a jewel encrusted crown saving the Earth isn't on your to do list. Rapture Christians have to be the most selfish self involved self absorbed group of people ever to infest the Earth.

I feel it too, I feel not only that God really wants us to pray, but that the spirit is in mourning because we are not...
and I feel Him rejoice when I do pray...really pray.
I think we should go pray now!

Sorry about your spirit. However, I don't feel the need for prayer. Of course, if it works for you, pray pray pray!

You're sending yourself. If God exists, he does not solicit prayers.

I woke up with heartburn. God must be telling me it's time for massive purchasing of Mylanta or Tums.
