When I'm unwell I always eat cheesy mashed potatoe, its the ultimate comfort food & it always makes me feel better!

I tend to drink lucozade as well because when I was poorly as a child my dad would buy me it because he said it would keep my strength up,probably not true, but now it alwaysreminds me of being ill!

The old chinese remedy, congee and soya milk.

Congee is just rice cooked with water to the consistency of cream soup. You can mince any meat to add to it for more flavor and nutrients. The soya milk is also a good addition for protein. Have some fruit juice here and there and you have a diet that would sustain you until you can have your dentist fix you up.

For a toothache there is nothing that will help except a dentist, so handle that as so as you can. Tylenol, and some ground cloves on your tooth might help for a little while, but good luck to you if you don't get yourself to the dentist.
