I am baking a classic white cake and it ask for Vegetable Oil butr I don't have any so can I use butter instead of oil? Will it come out right?

No because you need a liquid for the oil. butter is hard, don't microwave it because there is always a problem. You could try to melt it on the stove to make it soft. or use soft margine/butter but I would add some sour cream.

For a classic white cake, I feel that you should stick with the oil. I was going to suggest natural applesauce, untill I read the whole question. White cakes tend to be dry and I don't think the butter will help with the recipe.

Canola oil is a sort of vegetable oil, quite tasteless and mostly used to fry stuff in French cookery. it would be all precise. You extremely can't use apple sauce somewhat of eggs to maintain something at the same time. Apple sauce would not behave an identical way as eggs do, under any circumstances. you need to use eggs.

I think applesauce acts as a lowfat alternative to oil research it on the net mayonnaise also i think and how about margarine

Butter or margarine are good sources for adapting instead of using oil as they are also made from oil.

I always use applesauce or pudding cups instead of the amount of oil called for in the recipe.......EXPERIMENT!!!!
