They are exaactly the same. We actually get Human cephalexin at our shelter clinic for the dogs. That is what is sent. If your vet doesn't jave it in stock, he can write you a prescription for it for the pharmacy. It is the same.

Most of the time, the company merely labels one bottle as human medicine and the other as animal medicine and there is no difference at all between the actual drugs, the only thing different is the package. There are a number of companies who manufacture both human and animal drugs, same drugs same strengths, different packaging!

they're probably the same but I wouldn't trust giving your dog the same stuff as you. There's probably some different carrier method in the medicine that's for their different digestive systems. And there are some people drugs that can kill pets so NEVER try giving your dog your advil when his head hurts or anything crazy like that.

Some veterinary pharmaceutical companies make pet medications more palatable for the pet by adding flavoring. That is sometimes the only difference in the pill/capsule itself. Marketing, packaging and pricing are the other differences!

If it is the same medication and the same dosage it is the same. The only difference might be drugs meant for human's might have a different quality standard.
