Do you prefer one over the other?

they have the same meaning but flirt as a word is more suitable and we all do it
but tease is more strong word

A flirt is someone who will talk nasty to you, give you sexual looks and give the occasional long hug. a tease is someone who shows skin, more of a look but don't touch kind of deal. Get you in a room start messing around, then make some excuse of why they can't go any further. I prefer the flirt over the tease!!

A flirt is someone that wants your attention to reach a common goal to be with you. A tease is someone that knows your weakness but has no intention in satisfying you. Definately take the flirt because of the outcome but the tease is very good eye candy

Flirting is harmless. You hit on someone and go from there or move on. However, teasing leads the other to believe you're really into him or her. If you flirt with the person and make them think you want them, then wave and walk way, laughing, you're a tease. I prefer flirting much better.

Id say a flirt is someone that will eventually give you what you want. A tease would be someone that knows what you want and will get as close as possible without giving what you want. I like teases better

A flirt is an open-minded, SINGLE individual who likes the attention they get from being flirtatious.
A tease is someone who's probably committed to another person and wants the attention from different persons because they're not getting it from their significant other.
I rather have neither of the two, I'd want someone whos' real about the situation.

Flirt is more to get attention...generally more light and friendly (although can be suggestive)...
Tease is sexual, and the goal is to get the other person aroused...
Both can be fun, with the right people...but should never be used to toy with someone (with whom you have no actual interest and no intention of following through)...behavior like that is how the term "tease" ended up having negative connotations...

A flirt is someone that gives signs like she likes you.... like playing with her hair while she talks to you or touches your shoulder while talking to you stuff like that.
A tease is someone that leads a guy/girl who act like they want to have sex... and then do not go all the way with it. They were just frontin about it.

tease is when you somehow restrick the other person (partner) from having something they want eg pulling away from a kiss but not in an intentially mean way. flirt is showing someone you like them without giving too much away.

That depends on the situation. If a woman is teasing me in my house, she better put out.
