My son has been exposed to a couple of people just before and just after they started showing symptoms of a stomach virus. What is the incubation period for stomach viruses, and how long do they last? What are the best ways to prevent my son from coming down with it if he doesn't already have it. No symptoms yet, but how long until I can say, "Oh good, he hasn't gotten it yet, so he's not getting it"?

Oh and another thing: he's got cold symptoms. Do viruses manifest themselves differently in different people? Could he already have the virus that caused the stomach problems with the people he was exposed to? Or is that pretty atypical

Drink a great number of fluids and sleep it out, or flow see a doctor if its that undesirable. weigh down up some ice and then pour ginger ale on it, that's what my mom consistently did for me and it worked. yet i think of this is only because of the fact mom's are magic. call your mom!
