While at work I used to go on Yahoo! Answers and spend the entire day helping people with their questions. Now, I find that I have little motivation to answer the questions. Honestly, I haven't reached my 60 answer limit in almost 3 days. I am at work for nearly 9 hours, in front of a computer, answering phones and free to browse the internet as I please, but lately I haven't been doing anything on the computer. Whats wrong, am I depressed?

it is darker earlier
it is getting colder
TV has had so so many commercials about Politics

so if you need to talk you know you can write anytime
and everyone has sometimes they need down time
and do not feel like doing stuff
you will be OK soon

I don't think you are depressed, but burnt out on the same old thing. Some of the questions on here get a little redundant, and the Jerry Springer factor tends to be annoying too.
Maybe you just needed a change of pace for right now. Sometimes, things get "old" if we do them a lot. Take a break, and mix things up in your life a little.

Fran, personally I love helping people in solving their problems cos that's part of my service to humanity. But it takes a loving heart to do so, that's why I appreciate what you're doing. But I think beyond the internet and so forth, you need a well-grounded relationship with a right guy. It makes the difference to spice your day, especially when you're getting depressed or bored. That's why I want you to contact me on my profile and let's see if it works between both of us. Do it now when I'm still on-line cos I'll soon sign out. cya soonest.

its a good thing you asked yourself whether you are depressed or not, because many depressed people are not aware being depressed. Depressed victim usually are very sad and angry just because you didnt do much with the computer or you kinda change your habit it doesnt mean you are depressed but maybe you are facing some problems in your daily life that you didnt notice, try pay attention to your surrounding and see how need helps. Help them and you'll feel better

Sounds like you just need a break from the internet. Nothing wrong with that. Read a good book or write in a journal or something. Switch things up!

Maybe you need a new hobby. Siting and typing on the computer ALL day is not full-filling. Go out with ur friends;do something fun, go out on a date or something.Find something else to enjoy besides being on the computer all the time

No, you're not depressed you're just either stressed out or bored. Find something fun to do besides answering questions...then you'll feel like answering questions more because you'll be having fun.

Solving your own problems is far more important than helping anyone else with theirs.
Sometimes people believe that giving to other people before giving to oneself is noble. It isn't. If you keep giving until there's nothing left, you've done yourself and other folks a dis-service.
Give to yourself FIRST before giving to other people, that's noble.
