what is the different between dts digital out and dts digital surround??

DTS is a method of encoding muti-channel audio for surround and effect channels. It is a digital process, originally invented for theater use, recorded on an optical disc and not on the soundtrack. DTS digital out is the undecoded digital form of the signal that must be sent to an A/V receiver that can decode the signal and drive the separate channels (L front, R front, center, L surround, R surround).
DTS out is the signal that gives you DTS digital surround as a result.
