I think that you might mean Dachshund. (It's sort of pronounced 'dotson')

They come in two sizes & in three different coat types.

Well, I think you may be referring to a Dachshund maybe? The weiner style dogs. We have a long haired, but they also have a wire haired and smooth coated short haired. They also come in minature (under 14 lbs) and standard size (up to 25 lbs). They have a long body and short legs (can have back problems as a result, especially if they are over weight at all). They come a few different colors too. Ours is Black with tan brindle markings, but red and brown are also colors they can be found with.

A dashchaund is the dog called a "weiner dog", a dotson is nothing. The are short, low to the ground, and have long slender bodies.

Yes..I have one and she's the sweetest. They're also known as weenie dogs or dachshunds. They come in various colors, and there are short haired and long haired..mine is a black and brown short haired dachshund.
