The first time I heard the term was when I was a mechanic in a tune up shop. A really rich guy came and bought the whole thing form the franchise that was running it. One day he sent me with his car to the car wash. If your familiar with them they have guy's that dry your car after the wash. When the guy was done with the car I used some of the bosses money to tip the dryer dude, they don't get paid by the car wash only tips. Anyway when I got back I told the boss what I did due to the fact the tip didn't show on the receipt. He said"That's ok I don't want you to be a ham and eggs about it" . so yes I would be insulted about it. By the way the whole episode pissed me off and I quit the very next week. The dude was a total a$$hole. but to this day I still use the term.

I'm not offended by anything people could think of to call me . The tongue is like a very small match, that can set a whole forrest ablaze . So somewhere in my life,i decided to not use it as a weapon , and not take to heart all the hurtful things people can say, because that's just their opionion, it doesn't make it true . Besides..I love eggs and ham especially if it's green eggs and ham .. :)

I think that she should apologize that is. I feel that if she would have made a comment about Christians that was demeaning or rude she should have to apologize to them as well. It is close minded , judgmental and according to the bible it is not a christian act to be judgmental of others. Pagans are not nasty and bad. It is people that are nasty and bad. Same for the saying it is guns that kill, quite the cont-rare it is people that kill. You can not judge a book by its cover there for you should not judge a person by there personal religious preference or by the way that they dress. Stand up and apologize for saying some thing that in my mind many pagans and this wiccan find demeaning and rude. Personally if you don't like the fact that some one else is a different religion keep that point to your self and in your own head. Blessed be and may the goddess bless you in your everyday life..

CFO for small company. I would not be offended. How can you be offended when you don't know the meaning of the insult? I'd just say "Thank you, have a good day".
