I don't hate Jesus at all. I just don't believe the Bible is a literal factual document. I don't believe in people rising up from the dead and other miracle. Doesn't mean I hate Jesus. I think some of the message he sought to bring is very positive. Of course it is hard to really determine how much of the original message is left after all this time and the filtering through others who claimed divine knowledge of the message and life of Jesus rather than factual knowledge.

I don't think any of us hate Jesus. I'm sure he was a really good guy, he healed people, fed the hungry, spread messages of peace, he sounds like a hippie to me! The problem most of us seem to have is with conservative cristians who preach hate, are racist, don't care about the earth, and don't even care about taking care of the poor and hungry. At what point did Chrisianity become about wealth and power instead of Jesus' teachings? This is what we hate, not Jesus.

Who said I hated him? Just because I don't believe he's my savior doesn't mean I hate him. I dislike people who try to force me to convert BACK to Christianity or who can only rant about how I'm a heathen, tricked by the devil, and going to hell, or people who assume that because I don't follow Jesus it means I hate Jesus, but I don't consider it Christ's fault that you're an idiot.
Oh, I'm sorry, did I say that out loud?

Really...This question wasn't directed toward me because I am a Christian, but due to it's wide sweeping generalization I couldn't let it go with out a response.
Just because people are non-Christian does NOT mean that they hate Jesus. They may not have been raised to believe in him. But generally speaking it's only religious extremists who "hate" other religions. I would like to think that most have a "live and let live" outlook as far as our religion is concerned. Just like we should.

How does not being a Christian equal hating Jesus? I like what is written about his teachings, as far as love one another, but I don't think Jesus is God.

I have no hatred in my heart for everyone. Someone who calls themselves a non christian is not someone who hates jesus.
It is someone who does not conform to the rules of religious doctrine. I was baptized, and was a the leader of my youth group.
I was told I wasnt a christian, because for some reason I did not believe the interpretation of the bible, not in the way that man has suggested. Not soon after that I went to a revival in the Ozark Mountains, and my youth group leader angry becasue you thought I was trying to steal her daughter's boyfriend. She threw me against the wall with her hands around my throat. It was clear to me then, that indeed I wasnt a christian, so I went and searched for the answers from every religious aspect. I found that sewn in the very fabric of every belief are the same golden prinicples that jesus told us to be. I realized that Jesus didnt die on the cross for our sins, but that he died as a result of our sins upon him. It was a message to man that if man judges another mans heart, and his beliefs, then this is what would happen, the crucification of ourselves and our fellow man. Jesus tried to tell us that we were capable of great things, and that was each and every one of us. But we have to open our hearts to the possibility or the possibility doesent exist. One day you will find that church does not hold the answers and only keeps you stuck in one belief.
But do not think that for one second someone who does not call themselves a christian is someone filled with hate.
I wish you well

Jesus is imaginary. I don't hate Jesus any more than I hate the tooth fairy.
Christians are trying to turn the US into a theocracy.

I can't hate something that doesn't exist, I don't even hate people who claim they know personally a fictional character, what I am is puzzled as to why people refuse to accept and focus on reality and incessantly preying on others in the name of superstition and a fictional Messiah.

Oh, please...
I don't hate Jesus! By all accounts he was a great guy.
I do not accept that he was the son of god and came back to life after his murder. That's it.
If you claim to be a Christian, friend, you might want to learn how to spell the word properly.
