And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
Make thee an ark
thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.
Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
Gen 8:5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.
Gen 8:6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
Gen 8:7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
Gen 8:8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
Gen 8:9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
Gen 8:10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
Gen 8:11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
Gen 8:12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
Gen 8:13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
they were in the ark a year noah was 600 when he went in and 601 when he came out.

I believe the story of Noah is in Genesis.
Briefly, in the world Noah lived in, most people had turned away from God, and the basic teachings of the times. Noah and his family were among the few who still observed the old ways. God got angry and just wanted to destroy all mankind, and Noah pleaded wth him not to. So God told Noah to build a huge boat (ark) and all who would get on the boat would be saved from the flood that God promised was coming. Noah built the ark, gathered a pair of all the animals to be saved, and was ridiculed by all his neighbors. Well the flood came, everybody but Noah's family was wiped out, and at the end of it all, God put out a rainbow as a symbol of his promise not to do that again.

Here's a link to the Bible chapters you need to read the story for yourself.
Noah was the only one found faithful to God and His laws. God decided to destroy the earth and everything in it by flood, after giving humanity time to change it's ways to no avail.
God had Noah build an ark to save 2 of every creature, both male and female.
It took Noah many years and everyone laughed at him but he continued to do as God asked him.
Finished ark, God had all the creatures come to ark. Noah and his family entered, the doors shut, the rains came.
Rained 40 days and 40 nights. Sent out raven, no dry land. Sent out dove which returned with an olive leaf.
Ark came aground on a mountain. Door opened and everyone left. God sent a rainbow to symbolize the new covenant with Noah and his family.
Hope this helps.

Noah was a good man who obeyed God. Everyone else in the world had become bad.
God told Noah that He was going to send a flood to destroy all living things. He told Noah to build a big boat (known as Noah's ark).
God sent two of each kind of bird and animal to Noah to load in the ark. He sent more than two of some of the animals. Noah also loaded his three sons, their wives, and his own wife. It began to rain. God closed the door.
It rained for 40 days and 40 nights. Everything on earth was under water. Everyone on earth died, but Noah and his family were safe and dry.
When the rain stopped and the land dried, God sent a rainbow as a sign of the promise that He would never again destroy the earth with water.
What does this story
mean to me?
Noah was a righteous man who loved God very much. He lived in a world full of sin. However, he was loyal to the Lord and continued to follow Him, even when God told him to build a big boat and the people made fun of him during the time he and his sons were building the ark.
Can you stay loyal to what is right even if your friends make fun of you? Are you thankful for the things God has provided for you and your family?
This story about Noah can be found in the Bible in Genesis chapters 6-9.
Memory Verse
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Noah was obedient, but his fellows were not. So God warned him He would cause a huge rain that would destroy all the beings, and told him to build an ark. Noah put inside of it two beings (male and female) of every animal on earth. He and his wife, his three boys (Sam, Cam and Jafet) and their wives represented the humanity. It rained a lot, forty days and forty nights and then, rain stopped. Noah sent a raven to see if it was dry already, but it was not. Some time after that, he sent a dove, and it returned with a olive branch. Then Noah knew earth was dry. God promised He would never cause such a rain again, and put the rainbow to remember Himself and the humanity of His promise.
Sorry, I wanted to tell you the story but needed more than tree sentences.

Noah was a strong man of God who had been instructed to build a huge boat (ark) so that anyone who wanted to be saved could escape the flood. Keep in mind, it had never rained on the Earth prior to the flood, so Noah tried to tell everyone that rain would come from the heavens, instead of the earth in the form of dew. Unfortunately, no one believed him and so he and his family, along with the animals (it was actually more than 2 of each gender) were saved. It rained for 40 days and nights, and when a dove was released thru the window came back with an olive branch in it's mouth, Noah knew they were once again on dry ground.

something like this i think......god came to Noah (in his mind? i guess so...) and said that there was going to be a terrible flood that would cover all of the earth and that Noah needed to build a big ship/boat big enough for all of the animals in the world to fit into it (only a 1 pair of each kind of animal though). everybody laughed at Noah and said that the world was never going to flood and blah blah...i think that like 100 years went by and then one day it started to rain and so Noah got all of his family onto the ship and the world flooded and it stayed flooded for like 40 days or something like that. then a dove flew into the window with a olive branch and showed Noah and his family to dry land. i probably have some of that wrong...but that's how i remember it. i went to church when i was a little kid, but not as a adult. hope that this helps.

The story of Noah sums up pretty much like this.
God deemed the world was rooted in evil and wanted to wipe it clean. Noah was a good God worshipping man so God told him to build an ark and take two of every creature onto the ark with his family. Once Noah had this done God flooded the world.

God was going to destroy the earth because he wasn't happy about how people had turned away from him. Noah and his family were followers of God and God recognized this, so God told Noah about the flood, and told him to build a giant boat and to gather up all the animals and birds and put them on the boat in order that they may be saved. Noah did this, God made it rain for 40 days and 40 nights, Noah and all the animals were saved.
Amen.

God said He would flood the earth due to it's wickedness. He told Noah to build an ark, and God would put on it male and female of all animals, and then on it also Noah, Noah's wife and sons and daughters-in-law.
The flood lasted 40 days and 40 nights, after which, a dove released by Noah didn't return, telling him the flood was over, they came out of the ark, and repopulated the earth.
