You simply let them live their life and die. Most people do not wish to tolerate the healthy lifestyle that being average weight entails. It'll hurt their egos and make them feel bad about themselves when they cannot give up their food addictions. If you think they can, try to help them, but mostly likely you should let them live and die in their current state, apparently it was their path to take in this life.

If they're overweight, they know it.
If you're a spouse or a child, all you can do is gently bring up the subject or offer to go on a diet yourself and see if they'll be your diet buddy.
Overeating is a very complex issue. My Kimkins website is full of people, like me, who knew they were overweight but still couldn't find the inner strength to take that first step.
Then I developed the Kimkins Diet, lost 198 lb in 1 year and have helped others copy my success.
Continue being supportive. That's the best thing you can do.

I think it would be more tactful and helpful to try to get them active with you, like ask them to go for a walk with you after dinner because you want to go and you don't want to be alone, or even just go shopping at the mall and work your way from one end to the other at a fairly quick pace.
Pointing out to someone that you have noticed they are overweight will only make them feel badly about themselves. Helping them become more active is really the most positive thing you can do for them!

Is that individual even a mom? it form of feels she would not understand (or hasn't experienced) how tiring and emotionally draining this is to be a mom to a sparkling toddler, extraordinarily first time mums. i might basically tell her to bypass **** herself : ) it relatively is not her business employer. I placed on 88 pounds in my first being pregnant (from ingesting undesirable and way too a lot i visit confess) and basically now over 3 years later and after having yet another toddler have I lost 0.5 of it and am on a thank you to dropping all of it (nicely until eventually I have been given pregnant back besides). i mandatory to be emotionally waiting for it and to choose it sufficient to place potential and time in the direction of it, until eventually now i replaced into too focussed on the youngsters and now i'm passing a while on myself.

You can't!! unless this is your child.
It's a touchy subject and in truth it doesn't matter if you did or not because they're not going to do anything about it untill they are ready anyway so don't risk a friendship or good realtionship with someone for something like that.
Its just like telling a person who to love, you just can't do it.
When this person has had enough, he or she will make the change. :)

You don't. You try your best t o encourage them to change their eatting habits by suggesting they have fruit instead of candy.
Hopefully this will work as they will realise that they are losing weight and your family will be saying how great the person is looking

Holla.....do you REALLY think you would be telling them something that they don't already know? People who are overweight.....really....they know they are. Do not tell them. They also know they have high BP and cholesterol, too. When they are ready to do something about it, they will. But you saying something is just going to cause you grief. Just love them and pray for them. That's all you can do.

i'm sure whoever you are going to tell that is overweight, already knows, when they look in the mirror, or even getting dressed. I suggest maybe you go shopping with the person, and buy all cute clothes and maybe they will start to realize that they want to fit into them too. I would also suggest maybe next time you go to the gym, tell them to come along. Maybe you can tell them that you don't want to go alone and pleease come with me. or maybe tell them that you hate going by yourself, and you should get a membership to get in shape to buy new winter clothes.

You don't. They're overweight, not stupid. Leave them be, either they don't want to change or they can't. Go live your own life, not somebody else's.
