Can anyone recommend a good one? Or one to avoid?

There are lots to choose from and you might not like my choice but a good tip is to walk up and down and get touted. They will offer 10-20% discounts but don't rush. Free beers or drinks are also offered as come ons.

If cost is a factor try a cafe type place. Limited range but tasty.

Look out for CAFE BENGLA food is great atmosphere is nice always plays authentic Indian music no Phil Collins. What more striking as soon as you enter you are hit by the lovely walls looks like it was painted by Rembrandt. I like authentisity so if it doesn't look like a indian restaurant then i avoid it.

I think any of them will do you a fantastic curry. Don't pick from the menu though, ask them what's good today and you'll eat better.

I've been twice to Monsoon and it was reasonable both times. Avoid the ones with the touts, so damn annoying.
