The end of the church age could happen at anytime. Those that have believe and trusted that the Lord Jesus Christ died on cross for their sins Will be caught off the earth before the wrath of God is poured out. 1 Thessalonians 4: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. The prophecy of Daniel's 70th week has not happen and will not happen until the church is gone. Then the great tribulation will happen and it will last 7 years. Then the Lord Jesus Christ returns to earth to rule for 1000 years. Then the judgment of those that have rejected what the Lord Jesus done on the cross and then they will cast into the lake of fire with the devil and his angels. Revelation 20: 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Revelation 20: 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20: 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Then God creates a new heaven and a new earth that will last for ever. Revelation 21: 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. So believe and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did for you and you will not have to worry about when the end will come.

“No one knows, however, when that day and hour will come-neither the angels in heaven not the Son, the Father alone knows. The coming of the Son of Man will be like what happened in the time of Noah. In the days before the flood people ate and drank, men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat; yet they did not realize what was happening until the flood came and swept them all away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes. At that time two men will be working in a field: one will be left behind. Two women will be at a mill grinding meal: one will be left behind. Watch out, then, because you do not know what day your Lord will come. If the owner of a house knew the time when the thief would come, you can be sure that he would say awake and not let the thief break into his house. So then, you also must always be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you are not expecting him.”

We know for certain that we are very near the end of times as we know it. Some say less than 20 years is all we have left. We are soon to come to a new age where there will be no electricity, no computers, no big business. People will return to God and will know for certain that He exists.

Threatening world events should not be a source of anxiety to true believers who are trusting in Christ as their personal Savior. We who know the Lord are looking forward to His soon return, and we are assured that our future is in His hands.

Perhaps you do not feel this assurance. The key is to realize that God made us so we could have a personal relationship with Him. This relationship gives us peace. The Bible says, "He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord" (Isaiah 26:3, TLB). When we leave God out of our lives, there is an empty space left in our hearts. We try to fill that empty space in all kinds of ways: sex, drugs, alcohol, pleasure, personal relationships, money—the list is endless. But it will never be filled by anything or anyone except God. No matter the troubles in the world, you can have peace with God.

The Scriptures give us many promises to keep us in God's perfect peace when the world is shaking with fear. We are to "watch and pray," but we are not to have an unwholesome fear, which is equivalent to doubting God's Word. Jude 24 describes God as "Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy." In Ephesians 6:13 we read, "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." It is important that we make our relationship with Christ a priority, that we faithfully serve Him in consistent Christian living, and that we eagerly look forward to His coming again. Some relevant Bible passages to read are Matthew 24:42; Luke 21:36; Ephesians 6:10-18; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11; 2 Timothy 4:8; Titus 2:11-15; 1 Peter 4:7; and 2 Peter 3:9-18. May God bless you as you trust in Him.

The world will never end. 100 billion years from now, humanity may be extinct, but our planet will still be there, shooting through the universe.

In terms of the human population... I don't think it's going to to reach 0 for a very, very long time, if ever... we're too adaptable. Regardless of what happens, we always seem to find a way out of our problems.

Ahhh if you look back over the years it world is always at its end in the eyes of religious leaders especially with Jehovah Witnesses. I doubt it is going to end in our life time. They thought it was over during world war 1 and 2 and the year 2000 and multiple times before and after. When it happens we'll know and we should be prepared only so we don't get destroyed but I would bet its long after we are gone.

Well, any moment that is passed caries the end of itself and the beginning of another.
And since everything and the Universe itself is transcient, everything comes to an end at some point.
So, most certainly the end of our world is nowhere near to be worried about, maybe just the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. It is up to us, which direction will the new path of our society take on.
And this is the end of this message.

People have been shouting that THE END IS NIGH ever since Jesus himself said that HE would return during the lifetime of some of the people that he was preaching to.

Each generation has a few zealots who claim that the world is ending.

Personally, I doubt it. Though I do sometimes think that the human race would benefit from extinction.
