Morning all,

I'm reposting this question here,to see for additional answers. I am trying to prove a point to a person that I know who says that it doesn't matter how a person treats others it's how they treat me. If a friend treats you differently, does it matter how they treat someone else better, when it comes to that friendship ?

IE: I've (myself 29 now) been friends with Brendan Miller (who is 20 now) since mid/late 2002. Last year he and I would we'd hang out doing friends stuff, talk. He has been good, listener,he'd take me to the game shops in town when I was unable to get a lift, Before what happened in June and May, it was well before Christmas holiday last year. Brendan would talk to me online, call me on the phone, hang out a Rocky’s Pizzeria. After Christmas (the beginning of this year) for no reason (well before all this),all that stopped. All the while this didn't happen to anyone else that I know that he is friends with too.

sometimes in life we go through different friends. Most people we might think are friends are just acquaintances. The Bible tells it best, a friend is one that would lie down his life for the other to live. If you like some one you treat them better than your self, and it doesn't matter how other treat others better than your self. It just tells you how you stand with a person when they treat others differently. Do you find your self treating others different, because you may like some one little differently than another.

We all treat each other differently in one way or another. some better and some a little less. Just let it go you'll find some one out there who will treat you better, it's a big world out there and remember your one of god's little children and you are special no matter what any one may say.

The simple answer, dear.....people change. Especially at your age (I know--you hate hearing that!) but it's true. I only feel 20 myself...but I'm 41. VERY few people have 1 or more friends that they have for years and years. Everyone changes--even you. There's no blame--it's no ones fault. It's just a part of life. Who knows.....Brendan might come back to you at some point, maybe not. I had friends at your age and we never thought we wouldn't be friends. And we aren't. No fights, nothing like that. We just grew apart. Just be yourself and make yourself happy. Friends will come and go. Who knows who you are about to meet who will change your life?
