I value a candidate who cares about benefitting the nation as opposed to being a religious zealot. Often times, it seems the religious zealots are too busy worrying about "values" as opposed to dealing with internal issues and foreign relations, etc.

I believe that religion are a major factor in the poles. I also think that race,gender, and income are a major factor in poles. All you have to do is study the election results. However, in this politically correct world this is best left unsaid. None the evidence is completely conclusive, and this why people will get defensive when you say that certain groups vote among party lines.

I believe wallets have much more impact on electing candidates than religion. I think the majority of people, even though they may consider themselves religious, are not really that concerned with religion in their day to day lives. Money however often rules. Sad but true.

Not this time. 1/3 of Evangelicals voted democrat (according to MSN) because of all the scandals lately in the republican party. I think people are so sick of Bush getting away with everything with no accountability, that they welcomed a change regardless of religion.

i feel once apon a time it was based or the ideal was supposed to be based on religion but over the yrs hunger for money over come religion need for control ,power the ability to calll the shotts an whom so ever hast the money shall own an control this power buttttttttttttttttttt money runs out an what do tyou falll back on ????????? there is how i feel

Ashamed to say, I've never voted. But, if I did, I would research each politician thoroughly first. And I'd pick the one who would do the most good for the community or country, whichever the case may be.
