Any type of hair removal that you use will make hair grow back thicker than before. The great thing about waxing though is it lasts about 6 weeks. With shaving the hair will grown back thicker than with waxing as you have to shave more often than you have to wax. The only down side to waxing is you have to wait for the hari to grow to a certain length before getting it done!

When you wax, it does grow back a little thicker, but it takes longer to grow back than shaving would. The upside is over time, the more you remove hair from that region, less of it grows back.

Waxing is not a permanent solution to contain hair growth as hair will crop up in due course requiring yet another waxing session!

I am going to have to disagree with everyone else. I got a brazilian wax for the first time and at least in that area, the hair grew in finer. And I've been told that it continues to do it the more you get it done.

Yes. Wax sicks to your hair and pulls the hair out from its roots (that's why it hurts). Your hair will not get any more different than it was before you waxed.
