They are total scam artists. I went to a Benny Hinn meeting about 6 years ago and the lady that I went with brought a deaf woman hoping that she would get "healed". Well, she's still deaf to this day. The people that got "healed" were all people who could already walk, It was pathetic, I had never seen such a blatant display of PHONY before! How ministers like that keep fooling people is really astounding!

Healing is a 'sign' gift, like the gift of prophecy. Many believe that the sign gifts are no longer amongst the Church, because the need for signs that Christ is Lord is no longer there (Scripture is complete and has enough evidence). I'm not going to speak of anyone specifically, but MANY 'healers' and 'prophets' are leeches. God is sovereign, which means that He chooses when and if someone needs to be healed. Also, I've had to come to grips with the fact that I am physically disabled for a reason. If I need to be healed to be a more effective minister, God will heal me. Otherwise, I rely on 1Tim 6:7-8 "For we brough nothing in to this world, and we shall take nothing from it. But to have Food and shelter, with these we shall be content." which simply means that God will keep us alive as long as it's in His plan, and many other thing (like my general health) aren't always needed.
I can say with great confidence that many 'healers' and 'prophets' only perform when they can get away with it, such as healing things that can't be proven.
Your aunt's deformity and my handicapped body are in the same category. God has done this in some way that His glory can be revealed. The question isn't whether or not His glory is revealed in ALL things that happen among the Body of Christ (or BOC: Don't Fear the Reaper), it's whether or not we're willing to look and see God's glory in things that aren't fun to think about.

Only God can judge people like Benny's heart but his ministry doesn't line up with the word of God. Benny has been exposed as a fraud by the news media and many Christian organizations call him a false prophet among other things.
As to legitimate Christians who have been given the gift of healing you should realize that they have no power in and of themselves to heal anyone. God chooses when to use them to heal a person according to his divine purposes. If you read the book of Acts and the epistles written by Paul you see Paul performing miraculous healings. But in the same stories you read about Paul's protege Timothy being ill frequently or about a co-worker named Epaphroditus.
Philippians 2:25 I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need, 26 for he has been longing for you all and has been distressed because you heard that he was ill. 27 Indeed he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
For the most part God uses the gift of healing as a sign gift to confirm the gospel message although at times He will use it as an encouragement to members of the church.
Acts 4:29 Now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by extending Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may occur through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus."
Acts 5:14 And more than ever, believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 so that they were bringing the sick and placing them on couches and pallets, so that as Peter was passing, at least his shadow might overshadow some of them. 16 And also the multitude from the surrounding cities were coming together into Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, who were all being healed.
People who have the genuine gift of healing don't go around exalting themselves like some of the phony televangelists. The miracles that are performed through them occur when God puts them in a place where He chooses to heal for his own divine purposes.

Isn't Benny Hinn's limitation a perfect illustration of the entire Christian befief system? No evidence; only Man's word. I just don't understand why God wouldn't want the smart people on His side.
edit~ Isn't it funny how the Christians come through and thumbs-down, but can't leave any profound words to refute this?

Because they trick people and get away with it. They play with peoples minds and lead the wrong way. They will have to deal with GOD one on one.
