God "speaks" in a spiritual language that has meaning to the soul but not sound to the physical ear.

God speaks to me in my thoughts, like when you do something wrong, you know it's wrong before you do it and after you do it, it makes you sad, sad because you went against what you know is wrong. HE also speaks to you in thoughts to help others, he gives you an opportunity at every moment of the day to make others feel him through you.
This is how God works in peoples lives everyday, through your thoughts, but remember, God gave us all free will and unless you have some sort of mental illness, we all know right from wrong
and it glorifies God when we do the right things and he rewards us with an inner peace of knowing we did it, and we are also punished when we do the wrong thing(knowingly) by our guilt
but that's where Jesus comes in. He died for our sins and gave us the gift of forgiveness, all we have to do is ask and it is ours.
Wow, isn't that wonderful! Jesus Christ, is my Lord and Savior.

He sounds just like you and me. To some He sounds different according to the person's characteristics in order to change him. But God is in us. So He sounds just like everybody else.
