Let me start out by saying that I hate how clothing makers size women's clothes. They do not take height into account at all. My wife is in perfect shape. She is 5'9" and 140 lbs. She wears a size 8. You are very tall, like many models are. Because of that, you will look better in an 8 than shorter women do in a 6. If that is your picture, you are very pretty and should keep that by being healthy.
Diet pills work by raising your metabolism artificially. This is very unhealthy and doesn't work that well. Exercise often gets your heart rate up to 160. Doing that with caffeine would be very near a heart attack. Pills are slower and more dangerous than exercise.
Water pills or laxatives work by dumping water from your body. This works very quickly, because your body fluctuates water weight often and naturally, plus your body is 60-75% water. This is also very bad, because you need that water to function properly. Being dehydrated is not only dangerous, but can lead to dry skin, premature aging, and even body odor. Water weight will also come back very quickly as soon as you are done.
The best way to lose weight is simple. Eat less (and better) and exercise more. 20 pounds is not a lot of weight. You don't need to go to extremes to do it. I just lost 20 lbs in 6 months while bodybuilding. You could do it even faster if you're not trying to gain muscle at the same time, and you could do it naturally, while getting healthier.

Dear lord stop worrying about the number on the scale!!! That is first off the best thing you can do for yourself! What matters is your lean body mass vs. your bodyfat %. Weight charts are bassed on outdated averages and don't take into account a ton of variables that could effect someones actual healthy weight.
First off, diet pills are crap! Do not be fooled by rediculous results that you see in an add. All most are are simple and VERY harmful thermogenics. Basically it's like stacking caffine, effedrine and asprin together which is a biiig no-no. It may temperarily speed up your heart, which is terrible for you, but NOT your metabolism, which is what you want to do. Plus, they don't mention that the people you see on those adds are following massively strick training and eating regimens with professionals to see the results they boast, and most of the time, were in awesome shape beforehand and just added on 20 pounds for the picture.
The recipe for losing weight is simple, and there are no shortcuts if you don't want to sacrifice lean muscle, and you want to keep by all means all the muscle you have, because that's what will help you burn fat. sure you could starve yourself, take pills or chug a bottle of ex-lax and drop 20 pounds of water in a week if you want, but you'd just be losing water and muscle, and you'd gain it back very quick plus a few extras.
Theres an online book you should check out or download called "feed the muscle - burn the fat" that should give you the best way to reach your goal.
Beware of diet pills, you might as well be taking speed.
Hope that helps, and best of luck

If you are looking for prescription drugs, my doctor has prescribed Adipex for me. It totally kills my appetite. I have lost 19 pounds in a month and a half (with walking on a treadmill 5 days a week). Over the counter, you should try the new African herb, Hoodia. Be careful though, it is hard to find the real thing. There are lots of pills out there claiming to have hoodia in it, but they don't. GNC stores are the most reliable place to get them. Good luck.

Try Hoodia Gorondi Root. It has no caffeine or side effects. It simply curbs the appetite so you don't feel so hungry and makes you better able to stick to your diet. I've heard many people say it works wonders. You can get it in capsule form from Costco, Walgreens, etc. Good Luck.

I am now not a Doctor however I do realize there's no dependable fast repair for a crisis that built through the years. Sure you might take nutrition drugs to lower your urge for food, however now not consuming is solely as unsafe as over consuming if now not extra so. Anything that says to be a miracle therapy is not anything extra the a modern day day variation of what was once referred to as snake oil which was once offered out of the again of a protected wagon to unsuspecting saps again within the 1800's Rule of thumb "if it sounds to well to be precise then it in most cases is."

WATER PILLS WILL HELP LEVIATE EXTRA WEIGHT AND THE LAST 20LBS THE HARD ONES, WHY?
THEY ARE SUB-SCRIBED MORE DURING YOUR MONTHLY ALSO TAKING THEM DURING THIS TIME WILL STOP THE WATER-GAIN ON YOUR LIMBS AND OTHER PARTS NOT NOTICED, BUT DURING YOUR MONTHLY IS WHEN WATER WEIGHT WANTS TO HANG ON, SO TAKE WATER PILLS ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE AND YOU WILL LOOSE WEIGHT AND KEEP IT OFF NOT GAIN IT BACK AFTER YOU START EATING AGAIN, EVEN SOME NOT FAT PEOPLE CAN AHVE OVER 20LBS OF WATER,AND YOU ARMS WILL SLIM DOWN AS YOU ANKLES AND LEGS TOO THE HARD TO GET AREAS AND THE POOUCH OR STOMACH AREA WILL DECREASE IT WILL TAKE TIME, BUT AFTER YOUR TO YOUR GOAL TAKE WATER PILLS DURING YOUR MONTHLY, IT WILLREDUCE BLOATING
