Should I use print in my local paper, or place an ad on the Internet? If I should use the Internet which website do you recommend for price and performance? Yahoo? MSN? Vehix.com? Some other?

Thanks!

I have spent a lot of money on newspaper adds and internet postings trying to sell a car in the past, but hands down the thing that has worked the best for me was to simply put a sign in it with a phone number and park it in a parking lot at a busy intersection.
For the last car I sold, I put ads in Autotrader.com and Yahoo Autos and didn't hear squat for a few weeks, so I parked it with a sign and sold it in two days.

The wonderful print continually says that the broker isn't responsible for misprints or blunders. in lots of cases those web pages are maintained via 0.33 events or underpaid workplace human beings and that they do make blunders. i'm relatively bowled over that this broker might provide you gas money and $40 replaced into VERY beneficiant. the certainty that they did this for you need to teach that it replaced into an effortless mistake. i might easily evaluate doing business employer with this broker, even with the area. They went out of their thank you to compensate you for the holiday. it relatively is not common interior the vehicle buying worldwide. The Wal-mart remark is somewhat ignorant. specific Wal-mart can locate the money for to sell you a $3 %. of butter for $2, yet a motor vehicle broker can no longer take a $5,000 loss on a product because of the fact of a misprint or because of the fact you're 'aggravated'. this is basically dumb.

I always look at autotrader and carsoup when buying. I never look at newspapers. Too much time.
Cars.com is also good. I agree with the sign in the window, too. Find a busy road or shopping center to park it.
