Really it isn't about which company insures the vehicle, it's where the accident occurred and other details you left out.

Assuming that the car was yours and insured in your name, the insurance follows the legal owner of the vehicle in most states. If the person driving your vehicle was at fault, you can claim your "special" actual damages through medical payments coverage, but Geico will not pay out for "general" damages - pain and suffering as you would technically be suing yourself. My strong suggestion would be to contact an attorney and see if your state will allow you to go after your driver's insurance for liability coverage (bodily injury). If so, and frankly it's a long shot, you will likely be limited to a 15K statuatory limit (again, depending on your state of residence. Good luck - that sucks!

Do u mean you were in the car too? If thats the case, I'm almost positive they will cover YOU.
If you are talking about the other person, they might. My bf got into a crash with my car, and they asked me more than once if he was injured (he was not seriously). This is before they even knew he had his own insurance coverage. So, judging from their concern, they might cover it (at least a % of it).
