I've tried reassuring her that she does not have a bad odor but that does not seem to help. Any suggestions? Do all women fear this? Where does that fear come from?

Its probably not as bad as she thinks it is. Some people have a scent and some don't. Do you notice it or is it just her?

Yes all women fear this, or else there would not be a whole aisle dedicated to vaginal hygiene. Is this something she can actually smell or is this all in her head? If she can smell something that you don't smell then she should see her gynecologist. Odor is the firs indicator or a vaginal infection. If it is all in her head then she possibly had a bad experience before with a former lover. Reassure her that you don't smell anything (that's all that matters anyway) and that a little odor is normal at certain times, for example after exercise. Do not buy anything without consulting her because then she will take it as if you do smell something....tell her "I can find no problem down there, however if you feel that strongly about it lets go to the store and purchase a wash, a douche, vaginal deodorant, etc."

Be nice about it. Say something like "Hey I saw something on Yahoo Answers (or Loveline, Oprah, Cosmo, whatever) about certain smells down there being linked to infections. I think you should get that checked out." Be as gentle as possible. She may need an antibiotic to take care of it.

Some women are uncomfortable down there. All you can do is reassure over and over and over!!! Maybe before you all get into that...take a shower together and make her feel a little more comfortable. Good Luck!!

wow i never heard of that , not unless it was true. maybe she has a body scent that only she smells and finds offensive to her self. maybe she can go to the Gyn and let him tell her what's what. maybe coming from a professional she won't be so insecure or maybe she might have a problem that can be cured so tell her to go the the Gyn and get herself together lol

Have her shower each and every time before sex. She shouldn't smell then. No, not all women fear this. For those that do, we don't want to scare our man away. LOL
I wouldn't recommend douching. It isn't healthy. Your body (well, a woman's body), naturally cleanses itself.
Hope this helped. Good luck.

the better question is why does she feel this way. most women do think the same thing but thats usually because they have never smelled another persons vagina before but you need to tell her that if she smelled any other vagina she would smell the same thing.

Tell her that is doesn't have an odor and she is beautiful. You can also tell you her to make herself feel better to buy a douche.

That will make her feel better.

When you walk in the door, stick your nose in the air, sniff a few times, and ask, "What is that, tuna?"
