Dove makes a "hair lotion" (that is what I call it) that is a conditioner that you put in your hair, I think that will do the trick

Try using some John Freida Frizz Ease serum...lightly over the top of hair.
Or use Static Guard spray on your hands, and run it down your smooth hair.
Either should help.

This may sound stupid but here's what I do , and YES it work's.
I do my hair as usual
Then when im finished with my style i'll rub a new dryer sheet along my hair for a few minute's .....
There is 2 advantages to this method , you get static free hair and you can choose the scent you want your hair!!! lol , good luck girls

Spray your brush with Static Guard spray and then brush thru ur hair. Or keep a dryer sheet with you and wipe it over your hair. You can keep it in a zip lock in your purse for incidents where you get static and are out.

Are you using a ceramic straightener? If not, I'd suggest buying one when you can...switching from a non-ceramic straightener to a ceramic one drastically cut down on the amount of static for me, made my hair less frizzy, and even softer...it's the way to go!

Dont use hair spray! it makes it hard and disgusting..
Use a spray or serum made especially for heat protection..theres a wide range of these so you wont struggle finding one, and the cheaper ones do the job too

You could try static guard but I think it smells funny.
I use Paul Mitchell's Re- Works. But only a LITTLE TINY dab (smaller than an m&m.)
