...Slight corrections: I think you mean Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson.
...These men (and you, too) are free to express your faith(s) or your lack of it - you can ignore them, too.
...I am a Christian and I do not agree with Mr. Robertson on some things, and re Falwell, I don't always agree with him, either, though honestly, I rarely hear him - I think he is very busy with his ministry and college. These are two men who I believe would admit they have feet of clay, and do make mistakes.
...The media is especially hard on them, as they are on most evangelicals - I believe they hate these men, as well as the Gospel message they believe.
...RE what they say - they are ministers of the Gospel and I would expect them to tell us the Bible - if it is in the Bible, and they repeat it, why is that so troublesome to many of you? Is it too close to meddling with you?
...Many of you seem sound like you are filled hate and bitterness toward Robertson and Falwell - I ask you, what have they done to you?
...Are you really familiar with how they live or are these just your perceptions?
...One of you complained about one of them collecting all this money and going to the bank - - you tell me, how much is too much money for them to have? If/when he makes more than you make? If/when he has more than you? - I think it is out of envy that you say these type things.
...Do you honestly believe these guys just pocket their donations and live extravagant lives? Go to Liberty University and ask how money is being spent - judge with righteous judgment.
...What are all these "mean things" they have said? Remember, it is not mean nor is it "hate speech" to disagree with you.
...And are you willing to forgive and forget, after they have apologized? Jesus said we must forgive others.

Religion, as obvious as this is to thinking people, is often intermingled with politics. This is NOT TO SAY THAT religion is a bad thing. I simply say that, on occasion, it is abused. This has happened, at one time or another, to every religion that exists.
The objective of people like you mentioned is to be DIVISIVE. For a good explanation of what I mean by that, see the article on SECTARIANISM in WIKIPEDIA.
In short, sectarian groups are what might be called a "faction." Obviously, that's in the pejorative. A faction is a paranoid little splinter or fringe that is basically against the whole world. The thinking of sectarian fringes is so incredibly biased and one sided, they can't even recognize that the WHOLE BASIS for the fringe is dislike and suspicion of ANYONE NOT IN THE FRINGE GROUP. This type of thinking is great for the Religious Right.
THEY GET YOU TO HATE AND FEAR CERTAIN GROUPS AND PEOPLE for political reasons. Very often, their arguments are a TWISTING of scripture and don't even make sense to people versed in theology.

I think the are real with how they feel about certain issues, They say what they think out loud to any one that hears them. We all are not perfect cause you think negative on some things or have some cruel toughts about certain issues, does not mean you have to voice them out loud. But these two get paid for their opinions and we don't. I think they are cool sometimes but that's my opinion and I don't get paid to tell it.

They don't care what you think, they laugh at the public all the way to the bank. Have you seen there multimillion dollar estates?
They have a fleet of jets and enough cars to open a large car lot.
Gave a 10,000 dollar birthday party for one of his kids.
There is enough stupid people out there sending them money to keep them on Forbes 400 richest men in America.
So apartantly someone likes them. Why people think that sending money to rich people gets them into heaven has always been a mystery to me.

Has it ever occurred to you that everyone who calls himself a christian is not a christian?
These men are bigots dressed up as Christians. Pretending to be something that they are not.
Sad part is they are polluting the minds of others with their bigotry in the name of Jesus.

You know, I've noticed that there are more than a few "Christians" who say very mean things...I wonder how Jesus feels when we do that?

Jesus would not recognize these hateful, intolerant jerks.
I don't recognize the version of "Christianity" they are preaching.
Their so-called "churches" should lose their tax exempt status, as they are nothing but media empires with a political agenda.
